Greenhouse
Greenhouse gas emissions contribute to climate change, and require careful management.
Australian departments and agencies can reduce their contribution to greenhouse through:
- reducing their consumption of energy obtained from fossil fuel sources
- sending less waste to landfill
- purchasing energy-efficient and greenhouse-friendly products
Agencies are encouraged to consider joining the Greenhouse Challenge Plus Programme to assist in measuring and reducing their greenhouse gas emissions.
